Hello readers!

So many events, so little time! This week’s calendar is packed with exciting, inspiring, and culturally rich happenings. Headliners include the WOW Festival, the lovely Linda Vista Multi-Cultural Fair, the Mission Fed ArtWalk, and a Japanese Buddhist Cultural Festival in Vista. Music and dance lovers can enjoy a wide variety of performances happening around town, including the return of the annual Adams Ave Unplugged.

The Asian Film Festival Spring Showcase kicks off tonight, and the International Mobile Film Festival runs Saturday and Sunday. Beyond regular movie showings, you’ll find special film screenings in various venues across the county.

Families can enjoy a range of readings and storytimes at local libraries and museums. Sunday, the Spring Sake Festival returns to the Japanese Friendship Garden. A couple of cross-cultural theater productions are happening now, with more set to open in the coming days. Add to that some great exhibitions and gallery shows, and you’ve got a week brimming with ways to feed both your soul and your mind!

A gentle reminder:

Many local non-profits are facing unprecedented challenges that are, in many cases, severely impacting the services and programs they can offer. There is little reason to believe that this will be changing anytime soon. As such, there continues to be an urgent need to support local San Diego cross-cultural organizations (and other non-profits).
